Guilty Pleasures

For a girl, I guess I have a pretty twisted sense of humor.  I am a huge fan of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network - Family Guy, Robot Chicken (the mother of all AS shows), Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocolypse... yea-ap...

Out of nowhere though, I've taken to watching Squidbillies.  It's AS politically incorrectness at its finest.  Serious eyebrow raising fare, and I would say a real "show for boys".  So why am I so fascinated?

I know I'm a little late to the party, but at least I showed up eventually, right?

Finding A Place In Which To Begin

Many of you may be aware of the fact that I have a blog called "Changing Lanes". That blog is dedicated to all things related to being a young widow. I've decided that I would begin a new blog, one that details the other parts of my life, as well as all of the random nonsense to which I must submit my two cents (for whatever it's worth).

Changing Lanes is an enormous part of my life, and I am no where near the end of the journey which it details. Quite the contrary, I don't know if that particular road ever truly ends. In fact, in my effort to bring awareness to the large number of young widows and help those who may find themselves, unfortunately, traveling the same road, I plan on expanding Changing Lanes to include other related services, information, items of interest, as well as continuing to detail my ongoing journey.

But this is a new place. A new room in my ever-under-construction "house", in which there are many, many rooms. My grief does not reside in this room, and it will be granted only limited access.

My life, as a whole, is a curious place. And that's okay because I'm a curious girl (lucky, eh?)...
